Div 2 is presenting a custom iMovie for the assembly today. Three of our students compiled digital photos submitted by other students, arranged them, and made voice recordings of other students reading "We shall keep the faith," by Moina Michael.

Today in math we switched things up a bit. We watched a video on percents , completed an activity on eye colour, followed by an interesting worksheet done in groups. We had homework, of course (: but we understand the concepts really well thanks to the activities.

One of the highlights of this week was working on our individual sites. It's been slow going since the tech that we have didn't work for us as well as we wanted. However, we've decided to bring in some of our own tech to supplement what we have here at the school, and that's helped us a lot!

Our goal is to get our blogs up and running so we can start using them! Hopefully by the end of the weekend we'll have something posted. Check back soon!

This was our first week back - yes we were in school last week, but this was the first real full one. Halfway through we got a student teacher from SFU called Mrs. Keck. She'll be working with our regular teacher Mrs. Speller until around the end of November. She shared some ideas of things she wanted to do with us (like use weebly) and we're pretty excited. One of our homework assignments was to log into our new weebly accounts and play around for a bit.
